He made the remarks in a meeting with Ghana's special envoy and Presidential Advisor for Strategic and Security Affairs Tsatsu Chikata on the sidelines of the conference on National Dialogue on Syria.
Salehi said that Iranian government did its best to prepare ground for national reconciliation in Syria by hosting the conference to ease contact between Syrian opposition groups and the government.
The Islamic Republic of Iran employs all its potentials to help Syrian people and government restore tranquility and security in the country as well as the region, he said.
Describing Iran-Ghana relations as very good, Salehi called for broadening economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries.
Ghana's envoy said for his part that he was pleased with the visit to Iran and outcome of negotiations with Iranian officials.
He voiced Ghana's readiness to broaden all-out relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said that Ghana government is willing to bolster mutual relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran on international arena in line with Charter of Non-Aligned Movement.
He thanked Iran's sincere efforts for bringing security and tranquility to Syria through hosting the Conference on National Dialogue between Syrian officials and the opposition.
